Runtime: 30 minutes
Status: To Be Determined
Show Type: Scripted
Genres: Drama Comedy

Created by: Mindy Kaling

Netflix usually waits around a month before they consider taking on another series of a show as it gives them enough streaming data to decide whether or not there’s enough demand for it.

It’s looking promising for the show already though, and there should be no cause for concern from fans of the show.

The show is already one of Netflix’s top 10 series across the world, and the fact it was created by Hollywood actress, Mindy Kaling will be a huge factor in them wanting to extend the show for another series or two.

At the end of the first season, we find out that the main character Devi is facing the prospect of having to move to India with her mother.

She and her friends Elenor and Fabiola are all on great terms after a falling out, and it seems like Devi’s realized her feelings for friend Ben.

Throughout the series, we saw her chase after Paxton, and only at the end when he realizes his feelings for her does she seem to steer another way and go after the boy who pined after her from the start.

It definitely feels like we deserve a season two!

Twenty-part harmonies would be a challenge when musicians share a stage, but done across an entire country via the internet it’s impossible, so the song is simplified and imperfect. The feeling of Withers’ early ’70s classic comes through, however, as fans watch Grace Leer, Just Sam, Nick Merico and more sing. Leer is country music’s most obvious representative, but as the competition unfolds, others may reveal themselves as bonded to the genre.

American Idol first debuted back in 2002, when the judging panel included the likes of Simon Cowell and Paula Abdul. This year marks the third year that the show will air on American TV network ABC and it now enjoys a regular slot of 8 pm ET/PT on Sunday nights.
