Charles Schwab Challenge 2020 Date Time TV Coverage Live Stream

After a long time, PGA Tour golf returns with the 2020 Charles Schwab Challenge. If you are a hardcore golf fan, then we know that you are waiting to watch Charles Schwab Challenge 2020 Live Stream.

Don’t worry folks, we got almost everything you need to about Charles Schwab Challenge golf tournament. Take a look below…

Charles Schwab Challenge 2020: Date, Time, Location, and Others Info:

  • Event: Charles Schwab Challenge Golf Tournament
  • Date: Thursday, 11 Jun 2020.
  • Time: 7 a.m ET.
  • Location: Colonial Country Club, Fort Worth, Texas, USA.
  • Course: Colonial Golf Course.

One huge shocker the model is looking for: Bryson DeChambeau, a five-time PGA Tour winner and one among the highest Vegas favorites, stumbles and doesn’t even crack the highest five.

DeChambeau is getting low Charles Schwab Challenge odds 2020 within the week because he finished fifth or better in the final three PGA Tour events he played in before the hiatus. But he also finished 52nd at the Phoenix Open in February and began the 2019-20 PGA Tour season by missing the cut during a Military Tribute at The Greenbrier.

DeChambeau struggled mightily at this event last May, firing back-to-back rounds of 72 and missing the cut. His 60.44 percent driving accuracy ranks 122nd on the road this season, which should put him in tough positions this weekend, making him one among the 2020 Charles Schwab Challenge favorites to avoid.

Another surprise: Brooks Koepka, a 28-1 long shot, makes a robust run at the title. He features a far better chance to win it all than his odds imply, so he’s a target for anyone trying to find an enormous payday.

Koepka enters this week’s event ranked No. 3 within the world. The 30-year-old has struggled to seek out consistency this season, finishing outside the highest 40 in every start so far in 2019-20. However, the four-time major champion has proven he has the sport to compete at the Colonial Club.

In fact, Koepka earned a second-place finish in his only Charles Schwab Challenge start in 2018 after shooting a 63 within the final round. He can climb the 2020 Charles Schwab Challenge leaderboard during a hurry.

Charles Schwab Challenge Golf Picks:

Also, the model says four other golfers with odds of 28-1 or longer will make a strong run at the title, including a massive long shot who’s higher than 40-1. Anyone who backs these underdogs could hit it big.

Tournament’s Featured Group Field:

Even without Tiger Woods, you have nearly every other big name in the golf tournament right now. That’s 16 of the top 20 in the world, including all of the top five. The Tour has grouped players accordingly. We get a handful of supergroups this week to kick-off what will surely be a torrid 15-month stretch for the sport. Here’s a look.

  • Rory McIlroy, Jon Rahm, and Brooks Koepka
  • Justin Thomas, Jordan Spieth, and Rickie Fowler
  • Phil Mickelson, Gary Woodland, and Kevin Na
  • Bryson DeChambeau, Dustin Johnson, and Justin Rose

This is akin to a Players Championship week with all the heavyweights in these groups, and we’re not even including Jason Day, Tony Finau, Sergio Garcia, Sungjae Im, Xander Schauffele, Webb Simpson or Matthew Wolff.

Charles Schwab Challenge History:

The Charles Schwab Challenge Golf Tournament was founded in 1946 at the Colonial Country Club in Fort Worth, Texas, United States. Long-time Fort Worth resident Ben Hogan won the inaugural tournament and went on to win it five times.
Annika Sörenstam played in the 2003 tournament, becoming the first woman to play in a PGA Tour event in 58 years.
Charles Schwab Challenge 2020 will be the first PGA Tour event playing after the interruption of the tour due to the COVID-19 pandemic and with no spectators.

Tournament Preview:

The PGA TOUR plans to resume play with the primary four events (Charles Schwab Challenge, RBC Heritage, Travelers Championship, and Rocket Mortgage Classic) closed to the overall public and can implement a strong decision to ensure safety for all.

The plan was two months within the making and formed with input from PGA TOUR medical adviser Dr. Tom Hospel and therefore, the Federal Coronavirus Task Force, plus other specialists and laboratory directors, and in consultation with other professional sports leagues.

The TOUR will provide masks and sanitizers at tournament sites, a part of a significantly enhanced disinfectant and hygiene program. The amount of individuals allowed inside any structure concurrently is going to be monitored and restricted.

Most vital is going to be a comprehensive testing and screening program: Players and caddies are going to be expected to suits medical questionnaires, thermal (temperature) readings, and RT-PCR nasal swabs.

It’ll start before they visit tournaments and continue once they arrive. Anyone who presents with an elevated temperature would consult a tournament physician, and in certain cases go from there to COVID-19 testing.

Healthy players and caddies will have access to charter jets between tournament sites. The plan, all aimed toward minimizing risk, is going to be implemented without taking resources far away from local communities.
