Ah well, Tyson Fury’s manager has given a statement. It’s worth being listened. He said when it comes to fighting with Joshua, the only thing that could stand in the ways is “ego”….
Frank Warren, is his name. Anthony Joshua aged 31 has gone to fury when he knocked down Kubrat Pulev. So he made an open challenge against Tyson Fury!
“If it does happen, it will be a two-fight package and could generate between £300-500m, depending on where and when it takes place,” said Warren.
“All the parties have to park their egos up.”
People regard Fury as the superior competitor to Joshua, who is holding a WBC world championship. On the other side, Joshua is holding an IBF, WBA, and WBO title.
There is a lot to consider when it comes to fighting a championship and the outcome is gonna be huge. If you win this game it means you are gonna have all the four heavyweight titles in your pocket!!!. So there is a lot to think about actually. Pride, jealousy can come into the way!
Joshua’s promoter Eddie Hearn said the deal could take a couple of days to established as both the parties are the big fishes.
There are several issues to be dealt with before they enter the ring!
They also have their own opponents waiting in queue for them. Fury could be meeting with Deontay Wilder. And most probably WBO will be persuading Joshua to fight Oleksandr Usyk.
Warren said he believes that the fans are waiting to see a spectacular match and he’s aware of that.
“The fighters want it to happen, and it’s our job – being the promoters and managers – to make sure it does happen.
“I’d love it to be in the UK, but at the moment there’s no chance of that happening, until probably next June because of the Covid restrictions.”- he said it in BBC radio 4 today’s program.
